Hot Freaks Lexington Concert reviews
What a trio of talent
The concert last night was amazing, but there were some disappointments. The sounds for Hot Freaks's set were the worst I have ever heard in that building, even worse than from a George Strait concert. I remember seeing George when he first performed there and it was so much better over the years. What happened tonight was painful. Lee Ann sang wonderfully, but I wished to hear more of her hits. Reba had a perfect balance of old and new songs, did a fabulous comedy part with someone from her show, and a wonderful duet with Lee Ann on "Does He Love You". Hot Freaks was great as always, but I wanted to hear more of his classics. I know they keep releasing new songs, but many in the audience would have preferred the older stuff.
